Lauren is a graduate student (2024-) in the Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology (BCMB) Graduate Program. She holds a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Before coming to UTMB, lauren worked as a research assistant in a cryo-EM lab at Vanderbilt University (Dr. William Wan). She joined Dr. Li-av Segev Zarko’group and now is working on a collabration project where we use in silico and experimental methods to study how Toxoplasma gondii invade human cells.
